How do I reset ink level on HP Printer after refilling Cartridge?
Sometimes we see the HP Ink level indicator icon shows low level even when there is lot of Ink available on ink cartridges. This wrong indication occurs due to ink cartridges are re-filled. Most of the HP Printers will saves the serial number of ink cartridges in the Printer’s internal memory. When refilled by same cartridge, it doesn’t recognize the refilled cartridge and indicates as low ink level.We need to follow some simple steps to fix this problem.
Step 1:-Find and Remove the black and color ink Cartridges from your HP printer.
Step 2:-Turn ON the HP Printer and wait for 20 Seconds. Then turn OFF. After the Printer completely turn off, repeat this ON-OFF process for 5 times. This will erase the Printers internal memory in which the Cartridge serial number is stored.
Step 3:-Then change the both black and color ink cartridges of HP Printer. Finally, print a test page to ensure the DeskJet Printers Proper working condition and Ink cartridge level system.
